Tyler 2.5 yrs

Tyler's got a BIG personality these days... constantly chirping and demanding the world's attention. Her gross motor skills are unbelievable and she can dribble a ball across the backyard, catch and throw amazingly well, navigate big hills and stairs with ease! And she's almost swimming on her own. Proud mummy... my little baby is turning into such a big girl.

Sienna 7.5 months

Sienna is such a playful little munchkin. She's started crawling and has two little bottom teeth. She's loving solids and has made my life so much easier by eating whatever we eat. And I mean, spag bol, risotto, fish... whatever. She absoluely loves her sister and the two of the laugh at eachother all the time. She's also started babbling a lot and we thought she would be the quiet one. I am starting to think not!

Family getaway

This holiday was up there with the best. The weather was perfect, the girls had a ball and we snuck in lots and lots of relaxing time on a breathtaking plot of land 3.5 hours north. Villa Lago did not disappoint second time round. Sienna tried her first ice cream, Tyler had her first swim without armbands and Jordy truly wore herself out with all the swimming! Hard to believe that Dan and I polished off a bottle of wine every night for four nights. Tyler loved feeding the fish and the birds, and spent hours in front of the pond trying to entice the fish to eat more and more and more bread! All in all, we had a great time.

Summer time

The story so far...

We've had a busy month with the kids. Tyler has been having lots of playdates and is enjoying socialising with her little buddies. Sienna is rolling everywhere and looks like she's trying to crawl by lifting herself up and pushing backwards. It's just mad to think that she'll be 7 months in 2 weeks! I celebrated my birthday with a fab day (besides the fact that we were all sick). Breakfast with my babies, arvo tea with my buddy and a special dinner with my hubby made it a cracker of a day! Another year on...

Tyler's starting kindy on Tuesday morning :( and is really enjoying her new playgroup. So many kids and toys, she's totally in her element! Her fave books are Alexander's Outing and Where Is The Green Sheep? She wants to read these books over and over again. Am absolutely loving this warm weather... any excuse to get into the pool really?!
