Big people's food

Tyler enjoyed her first taste of "real food" (we suspected she might). Here are a few happy snaps of Tyler with food all over her face as she indulges in her first ever solids meal of rice cereal.

Xmas parties and balloons!!

Tyler had the best time at Dan's work xmas party with a show by one of The Wiggles and Captain Feathersword that had her totally and utterly transfixed... a sign it might be time to introduce her to the wonderful world of The Wiggles!!! She could not keep her eyes off the helium balloons around the room and kept grabbing for them. She also received her first xmas present and reached out to grab it. She is 5 months.

My first trip to the zoo

We headed to the zoo with Aunty Jade and Uncle Jules... and we REALLY covered some ground (spent 4 hours walking around the zoo... pheww!). We pretty much saw everything and Tyler was only really interested in the pelicans, the ducks and the goats. Everything else was blah.. blah! In fact, she was staring at Jade most of the time. But all in all she had lots of fun... will have to bring her back when she's 1.

A little princess

Summer has started early for us this year with morning trips to the beach and Sunday arvos paddling in the inflatable pool. She loves the waves, the sand and the water (even though it's still sooo cold). She's a real babbler these days... sometimes it's hard to get a word in. Can't believe Tyler's 5 months old ALREADY!

Almost 5 months...

It's quite hard to believe really that in one short month our little angel will be eating grown-up food! Tyler's little personality is really starting to shine through now with her constant giggling, grabbing and gooing. I think our little munchkin is a bit shy when there's lots of people around and only feels comfortable with who she knows well. She is such a happy baby... hardly ever cries and is always smiling... we call her Tyler the smiler! She LOVES Jordy too and has started reaching out to pat her!!!!!!!
