First meal

Sienna had her first meal (rice cereal) at 4 months old and well, let's just say, it's easier said than done. After a lot of gagging, face pulling and spitting, I've concluded that all babies hate eating food at first, well my girls anyway! You'd never know it today with Tyler -- she loves food more than anyone I know! Here are some happy snaps with Tyler as the "first meal cheerleader". Distraction is key!

Popcorn and giggles

Sienna is now 16 weeks and giggles non stop! She's a happy, playful, smily little girl and is loving blowing bubbles at the moment - she thinks it's the funniest thing. And the pic of Tyler above, is her stuffing her face with popcorn -- her favourite, favourite thing to eat!

Our mountain getaway

We rugged up and hit the road to the Blue Mountains with a FULL car and two little girls in tow. The mountains were freezing... a crisp 7 degrees during the day but we kept warm in front of the fireplace. We took the girls out on the railway ride in Katoomba, went for a nice walk and took the cable car back up. Tyler was pretty scared but luckily the rides were short so by the time she realised she was afraid we were back on steady ground. On the walk both girls fell asleep strapped to each of us which passersby thought was hilarious.
