Our family trip to the zoo... and a few other snaps

This was a lot of fun and the girls went mad for all the animals. Tyler fell in love with the chimps and the chimps seemed to be showing off for us - swinging on the ropes and tapping on the glass. It was adorable. The girls loved the penguins and did a penguin dance in the food cafe (see pics) for all to see and they really put on a show (Tyler especially) and Sienna of course, follows whatever her big sister is doing.

Tyler's back at ballet and absolutely LOVING it. She's a real performer with so much personality and enthusiasm. She loves singing songs from her favourite shows like Playschool and a new favourite The Fairies (argh!!! this drives me mad!), and dances and performs for anyone who will watch. She makes friends wherever she goes and people often stop to comment on how friendly and happy she is. She's made friends with our next door neighbour India who is 8, she calls her "my best friend". It's adorable to watch them together. She's incredible on the scooter now and does laps around the tracks at big ovals. She can turn, go fast, slow down... it's amazing to watch. Tyler often reads Sienna books on her lap - she's got such a good memory that she literally "reads" the books word for word from memory.

Sienna continues to blow us away with her talking (2 words now and can mimic everything you say) and she's a whizz on Tyler's scooter - pretty much zooms around on her own. She is a very determined little thing and if she wants to do something - she will do it, on her own, without your help thanks!!! She's a clever little thing and will spend ages trying to figure stuff out. Sienna is amazing in the pool and at swimming lessons is already the top of her class and she's only had a few lessons. She goes right under the water and comes up smiling asking for more. At homes, she hangs around the pool gate asking mummy to "swim" even if it's freezing cold. We think she'll be a fish like her dad.

Here are some pics. Tyler 3.25 years and Sienna 17 months.
