Spring time in September

We've been making the most of the sunny weather with lots trips to the beach. We've also had Simone Horwitz (Leas) our cousins come to visit and live in Sydney and we couldn't be happier. The kids got on like a house on fire! See all the pics.

Tyler is such a little lady now - interested in dressing up and imaginative play, and can entertain herself and her sister for hours with sticks and a couple of pebbles. She has a wonderful imagination and is a gentle, playful, sweet soul. She is very quick at picking up new songs, counting, drawings. In fact, she can draw most things if you give her a picture to copy. She writes her own name beautifully and knows how to write and spell Sienna's name, and mum and dad. She has so many friends at school and even a boyfriend, Ethan who is quite taken with her. She is such a bright, happy, animated child who is pretty much always happy!

Sienna is beyond her years in every way. Always trying to keep up with her big sister, and quite often succeeding, she knows how to count to 30, spell both her own and Tyler's names, and can "read" several 25 page books OFF-BY-HEART, WORD FOR WORD from memory. I will document this on video as it's quite remarkable. She has an incredible vocabulary for her age and is becoming a social-lite just like her sister. She loves singing and dancing and has amazing rhythm for her age.

Baby Abrahams # 3

Baby Abrahams # 3 is on it's way due 26 Feb 2012. We are all so excited including the girls who both walk around with stuffed dolls up their tops telling me they also have babies in their tummies. Tyler is definitely the most excited being the big sister, and is already proving to be mummy's little helper and a little mummy. Here are our pics from our 13 week scan. I am currently 16.5 weeks and still waiting to feel those first proper kicks.

Our second honeymoon sans kids - Aug 2011

Our first ever holiday away from the kids promised to be pretty special - a tiny adults-only island that you could walk around in 20 minutes, with views, private plunge pools and amazing food - and it did not disappoint. For 6 days we were totally indulged. Sleep-ins, late breakfasts, long walks, long lunches, snorkelling, kayaking in absolute paradise. Royal Davui Island was picture perfect. Although we didn't have much luck with the weather, I was only to happy to spend my days reading on our deck and realxing to pass the time, especially being 12 weeks pregnant. We really had a magical time but we missed our little babies. Pictures say it all.
