Sienna's first birthday

Our baby girl turned 1 on 16 April and we threw her an awesome party to celebrate. The baby farm animals came to our house with goats, lamb, ducks, chickens, a piglet and a calf meandering around our backyard. The kids had the most amazing time and it truly was one of the best parties ever. Sienna was such a happy girl and really enjoyed all the people, attention and animals. I loved making the cake and am very proud to say I made the whole thing... right down to the farm animals on the cake... took ages but such fun!

Sienna's just started standing on her own unassisted and is talking so much already. She has at least 20 words and can parrot so much already. She loves books, playing with all her toys and climbing stairs. She's actually amazing at climbing... climbs up slides, ladders, stairs really quickly and without much help from me - very coordinated. She's a confident, happy and CUTE little girl.

New Zealand trip April 2010

We were lucky enough to be invited along with Dan and his boss, Les on a business trip to New Zealand. But the lucky part was that we got to fly on the new Emirates A380 airbus... FIRST CLASS! It was the most amazing experience and the kids were really well behaved too. Auckland is a beautiful city, and although we were there for only 4 days, we found it be really pretty and quite similar to Sydney. Although the food and coffee was average. And there were so many hills, I almost died pushing the girls around on my own for the first day and a bit. But all in all, it's always nice to get away. And the kids had a great time!
