One week later...

Welcome little Sienna Lily

Sienna Lily Abrahams, our second beautiful daughter, was born 16 April 2009 at 1.12pm after a very quick 1.5 hour labour! She weighed 3.4 kilos, 48 cm long and looks so similar to her big sister Tyler. We are in our element with two gorgeous girls who both have the most beautiful natures.

Tyler is very interested in Sienna and points to her yelling "bubba" but other than that, life has continued on as normal for her and she is very busy on her own little mission, seemingly unaffected by the arrival of her little sister.

Sienna is an angel baby - sleeps well, feeds well and is so easy to settle. Maybe it's because we've done it once before but whatever it is, it's GREAT!! I have to wake her to feed her, and she already sleeps well at night and she's only 5 days old.

Thank you everyone for your beautiful messages, flowers, cards, presents, phone calls and emails. We are so touched and overwhelmed with the fuss made over Sienna's arrival. Thank you. We look forward to introducing another Abrahams princess to you all. For now, we are very much enjoying being a family of four -- it's the most amazing feeling ever.

Now that we've moved to the burbs we're really close to all these wildlife parks which is fantastic for Tyler, especially since she absolutely adores Kangaroos and always jumps when we ask her what kangaroos do. Here we saw koalas, emus, dingos and even penguins. Our little animal-lover has no fear of animals at all and merrily goes up to them trying to pat and cuddle them... which keeps us on our toes!!! But a great arvo was had by all.

I am 34 weeks now and very excited about our next little baby. Bets on the table... boy or girl? Still hard to believe that Tyler is 20 months already - time flies when you're having fun! She's trying desperately to talk and sneaks a few new words out every day.

Holidays - January '09

We have really been enjoying the month of Jan as Dan has been on holidays for over 3 weeks and the sun has been shining. It's been so wonderful having daddy at home and we have been very busy making the most of our time together. The last few weeks have consisted of beach, parks, swimming at home, the zoo, lunches, picnics and more.

I am really pregnant now... feeling as big as our new house but the baby-to-be is doing well. I am 27 weeks and Tyler will be 19 months next week. Hard to believe our little threesome will soon be four... so exciting!
